加尔丁礼宗主教期盼摩苏尔解放后伊拉克人能够享有和平与统一

巴格达（亚洲新闻）—昨天，数以百计的伊拉克北部重镇摩苏尔南部的卡拉克什基督徒举行弥撒圣祭、载歌载舞庆祝城市解放。二O一四年夏天伊斯兰国占领摩苏尔后，卡拉克什的基督徒被迫连夜出逃。现在，他们欢庆政府军围剿吉哈德分子的胜利。

十月十八日清晨，由三万名伊拉克政府军士兵、库尔德族自由斗士、美国为首的国际盟军以及逊尼派穆斯林部落武装力量等联合组成的战斗力量向伊斯兰国堡垒摩苏尔发动了全面的进攻。据美国军方消息来源证实，伊斯兰国正在将平民当作人盾。而阿拉伯士兵和库尔德族民兵取得节节胜利、逼近摩苏尔。

截止到目前，至少有七十万人被困摩苏尔、无法逃离战场。大约五千名吉哈德分子正在负隅顽抗。

参加了解放尼尼微平原地带战略要地卡拉克什战斗的军方成员表示，战斗尚未完全结束。许多吉哈德分子藏在一些建筑里、无意投降。总之，流亡基督徒们已经开始欢庆了（见照片）。

社交网络上，亚述-加尔丁礼团体成员纷纷发出了欢庆胜利场面的照片、视频。一些逃到了库尔德斯坦首府埃尔比尔的基督徒难民们在接待中心载歌载舞、有人则在弥撒圣祭中虔诚感恩，十几名儿童、男女老少一起祈祷。

伊拉克加尔丁礼宗主教萨科枢机就这次伊拉克政府军和库尔德族自由斗士全面围剿伊斯兰国、收复摩苏尔行动发表声明，呼吁全国人民团结一致，让军方的努力早日取得胜利。他表示，“我们伊拉克人要成为一个大家庭”。愿这次军事行动能够促成“纯正的民主、文明”新国家的诞生。

As you all know, a lot of effort is currently placed on the preparations for liberating Mosul (one of the most important historical cities in Iraq) and Nineveh Plain. Therefore, I would like on this occation to speak, from the bottom of my heart, to our Iraqi family as a whole and mainly in Nineveh, regarding our common concerns and worries under such difficult and exceptional circumstances. Especially, that the voices of division, inflexibility and break up began to rise, which may impede the operations of release!

I strongly believe that we “Iraqis” are one family, despite of our different affiliations. Though, the current situation demands from all Mouslians, as is the case for all Iraqis, to bear a complete historical, national and moral responsibility in, building a balanced internal and external relationships; avoiding accusations and blame; putting an end to disputes; wavering self and factional interests; and upholding Iraqis’ benefit before and above everything else. This way enables us to pave the actual path for a real communal reconciliation, love, peace, and the release of all occupied lands. So, we as Iraqis, can retrieve some confidence and hope for a quick solution to our long-standing dilemma, by the establishment of a genuine and civil democracy, that respects everyone in a peaceful and civilized means. This is the only way for our absolute recovery.

I also urge the international community to take concrete steps in order that Iraq and the region regain their security and peace. This kind of success would be a triumph for everyone and for the international well-being.

Finally, I pray: May God Protect us, Shorten our suffering, Preserve the purity of our human kinship and Watch over the unity of our beloved country.
