Revolutionary Guards’ Navy positioned in Bandar Abbas and southern Iran

By contras, Ali Fadavi said that his navy is “fully positioned in Bandar Abbas and has the capability to carry out its assigned functions” against threat that might come from outside the region.
“The Persian Gulf region is an essential waterway for supplying the world’s energy,” he noted. “The security of this region is essential and important for the Islamic Republic of Iran. As a result, the IRGC’s naval force will respond to naval-based enemy threats with full preparation and absolute force, striking the enemy from all positions and from all sides in case of war.”
On Sunday, Iran’s Defence minister also announced the positioning of military materiel in the southern part of the country, including four submarines capable of launching missiles and a Mersad missile base.
