Husband accuses wife of cheating because she chatted with men on her mobile

The man, 95, took his 25-year-old Pakistani wife to a Misdemeanour Court. She has denied any wrongdoing and the charges have yet to be proven in court. The hearing was adjourned.

Ras Al Khaimah (AsiaNews/Agencies) – A man in Ras Al Khaimah, a Persian Gulf emirate, has accused his wife of illicit relations because her mobile phone contains men’s names.

The 25-year-old Pakistani woman went before the Misdemeanour Court when her 95-year-old Emirati husband accused her of chatting with men via BlackBerry Messenger.

The elderly man alleges that his wife deceived him during their marriage and that his wife exchanged unacceptable chats with men, unbecoming of a married woman.

He said that he had noticed a change in his wife’s behaviour, which led him to ask his son to check her mobile. When he did, he found that she had names and messages of men.

She has denied any wrongdoing and the allegations have not yet been proven in a court of law.

The hearing was adjourned.
