CHINA - JAPAN
Xi Jinping and Fumio Kishida intend to promote relations between Beijing and Tokyo in the name of mutual benefit. The leaders of the two countries stated this in the first face-to-face talks in over a year, placing emphasis on economic issues in a context of strong conflicts including fishing and the waters of Fukushima, as well as the detention in China of a Japanese business man.
MYANMAR
The new fighting that broke out this week between the soldiers of the Myanmar army and the Arakan Army (AA), linked to the ethnic minority of the western state of Rakhine, has caused the displacement of over 26 thousand people. Fighters launched attacks on security forces in Rakhine and neighboring Chin state on November 13, ending a shaky ceasefire.
AFGHANISTAN - PAKISTAN

Only 20 foreigners have applied for the "golden visa" for Russia since the beginning of the year, reserved for people willing to invest more than 10 million euros in the country's economy. This was reported by Deputy Minister for Economic Development Dmitrij Volvač, specifying that, in addition to the minimum threshold, each request is verified on the real intentions, with a waiting procedure of at least four months.
KAZAKHSTAN
