Appeal by Gao Zhisheng's wife, the human rights lawyer has been missing for two years

Geng He, who fled to the United States with her two children, asks the Chinese Communist Party to reveal where her husband is being held.  In the past, Gao Zhisheng, a Christian lawyer, was in prison and suffered enforced disappearances.  This disappearance has lasted for 24 months.

Hong Kong (AsiaNews / Rfa) - Geng He, wife of the human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng has once again asked the Chinese Communist Party to reveal where her husband is. He has been subjected to numerous forced disappearances throughout these years.

Speaking to Radio Free Asia from the United States, where she fled with her two children in 2009, Geng He explains: "In the last 10 years the forced disappearances of Gao Zhisheng have become a norm in our lives.  Before this, the longest disappearance was 20 months, but this has already lasted for 24 months”.

Activists and international human rights organizations have asked many times for the immediate and unconditional release of Gao.
