"Patriotic" Ahmadinejad interrupted by the cry of the unemployed

A Khoramshahr to celebrate victory over Iraq, a video of protests, with the cry "Bikari! Bikari! (Unemployment! Unemployment!). In Khuzestan, unemployment is at 25%.

Tehran (AsiaNews) - A group of unemployed in Khoramshahr disturbed the speech of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad shouting "Bikari! Bikari! (Unemployment! Unemployment!).

Khoramshahr, in the south-west of the country, a port is 10km from Abadan, became famous during the Iran-Iraq war because it was freed on May 24, 1982 after weeks of siege and a resounding victory of the Iranians who took about 70,000 prisoners.

Ahmadinejad went to Khoramshahr to celebrate the anniversary of the liberation of the city. But while he was extolling the victory he was interrupted several times by a continuous scream of slogans by the unemployed.

As we understand from the video (see here) Ahmadinejad struggled to continue and tried to appease the crowd saying: "The government is at your service and with the grace of Allah and an extensive program the causes of unemployment in Khuzestan will be destroyed. "

At present there is record unemployment of 25% in Khouzestan. The bad relations with the international community, sanctions and corrupt politics is leading Iran towards a very difficult situation: the closure of many small businesses, end of state support and the dismissal of at least 200 000 workers per year.

Many workers, trade unionists and unemployed have now joined the opposition to the government of Ahmadinejad and the Green Wave movement, which criticizes the election fraud of June 12 last year, which reconfirmed the presidency to Ahmadinejad.
